  • Who should do this course?

    This course is designed for women who think they would benefit from learning to sail in an all female group. Run by one of our highly experienced female instructors, we believe that women supporting women creates a learning environment that feels fun, safe and inclusive.

  • Course Overview

    The first step on the learn to sail pathway introduces you to the basics of sailing on a small keelboat, including boat handling, safety and sailing theory.

  • Course Prerequisites

    You have to be water confident

  • Course Outcome

    You will gain your Start Crewing completion certificate.

  • What to Bring

    • Hat and Sunscreen

    • Shoes that can get wet

    • Water bottle

    • Lunch and snacks

    • Gloves if you wish

    • Sun protective clothing

    • Warm jacket

    The cost of the course is $550 per person for the 2 days (including GST).
